I am a dedicated Flickr user. Unless otherwise indicated, all pictures on this site are taken by me and stored on Flickr. I find their interface, both as a viewer and an administrator, very user friendly. Flickr’s emphasis on community and sharing is also very appealing. If you take pictures, consider storing (and sharing) them there.
For several years, I’ve been using a Canon A75 Powershot and it has been a wonderful point and shoot. Currently, I’m using a Nikon Coolpix S51c. I’ve written about this camera, here. It’s a lot of fun to use and so compact! At some point I’d like to have a DSLR for my photo work.
My photos also appear regularly on the sites Joey in Astoria and OuterB, where I am also a writer and editor.
My photos also have been featured in the following publications:
- The fourth edition of the Schmap New York Guide - the Church of the Transfiguration listing. (12.08.07)
- The Historic Districts Council Newsstand published my photo-essay on the Lent-Riker-Smith Homestead in Jackson Heights, Queens. (09.21.07)
